Description

11 Church Place in Kirkcudbright is an end terraced house built around 1860. The main elevation is three stories high and features three bays facing Mews Lane, with a gable end towards St Mary's Place. The exterior is constructed from squared, snecked rubble with painted margins and rusticated quoins. There is a central door, with blind windows at the ground and first floors in the left bay. The second floor has three windows set within wallhead gables. Each storey on the gable end has one window. The house has straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof, along with a lower lean-to addition on the right side.
