Description
The steading at Culroy dates from the late 18th to early 19th century and is constructed of painted rubble with red sandstone coped skew stones and a red sandstone ridge. The roof is covered with small grey slates, sloping to the north, and there is a gablehead stack on the west side.
On the south elevation, there are two later cart bays on the right, with two stable doors located to the left and to the left of center. The first floor features three blocked openings.
The north elevation has two doors, one on the right and one to the right of center, along with four small square windows on the first floor.
Modern walls have been added to the gabled west elevation, while the east elevation is gabled and blank.
