Description
Torbay Lodge, located at 31 Lovers' Walk in Dumfries, is a mid-19th century building. It has two storeys and features four bays, with a shallow advanced two-bay centre that includes a pilastered double porch with bipartite windows and side entrances. The exterior is made of red ashlar, and the ground floor windows are corniced and architraved. There is a cill band at the first floor level, and the sash windows mostly have four-pane glazing. The building also has an eaves course, cornice, blocking course, a single dormer, straight skews, end stacks, and a slate roof. It is set behind a rubble-built garden wall that has ashlar coping and square gatepiers.
