Description
The Neuk is a late 18th century, two-storey house with an irregular three-bay design, set back from the road within a walled enclosure. The exterior is finished in painted rubble with raised painted margins. The central doorway features a modern door, while flanking it are two single light windows. On the first floor, there are three windows, with the left-hand bay being wider. All windows are sash and case style with four-pane glazing.
The house has end skews and coped end stacks with thackstanes, a sandstone ridge, and slate roofs. A low painted rubble wall with a coping runs along the street.
