Description

1842 cruciform-plan parish church converted (with minimal

exterior alterations) circa 1877 to school; circa 1900 3-bay

wing connected by narrow link to long W wall; low shelters to

W. Harled, with ashlar dressings and round-arched windows

with intersecting tracery and shaped skews. E jamb with apex

birdcage belfry (bell removed) and modern symmetrical

lean-to's. Single end stack over wing; apex roof ventilators

also circa 1900, in Arts and Crafts tradition. All roofed

with graded slates.
