Description
Southview in Kettlebridge is a late 18th-century, two-storey, three-bay house, although it may incorporate fabric from a school built in 1704. It is located next to the old village hall, which is listed separately. The building is constructed of whitewashed rubble with contrasting painted ashlar margins.
On the southeast elevation, there is a narrow central door that is panelled and features a fanlight, topped with a corniced plain doorpiece. The sash windows, symmetrically arranged in the left bay, have a 12-pane glazing pattern. The roof has straight skews and is adorned with corniced end and off-centre axial stacks, covered with graded slates.
