Description
20-22 English Street in Dumfries is a building dating from around 1826. It stands three storeys tall and features a shop at the ground level. The facade has three bays facing English Street and Queen Street. The corners are chamfered at the ground level and corbelled to a square shape at the first floor. The exterior is made of droved red ashlar, which is painted at the ground level. There are blind windows in the center of the English Street facade. The windows have been reglazed with modern frames. The building has end stacks and a piended slate roof.
