Description
Castle Mains is a former farmhouse dating from the 17th century to the 18th century. It is a single-storey building with a dormerless attic to the north and features three bays, along with a lower storage range to the west. The structure is constructed of lime-washed rubble. The central door is flanked by two small windows. The garden front includes a projecting porch and three flat-headed dormers. The roof has straight skews and end stacks, and it is covered with slate.
