Description
This is a house located at 62 High Street in Kirkcudbright, dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, with later additions and alterations. The gable end facing the street is harled with painted margins, while the rear is built from rubble. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring four unequal bays, along with a lower single storey and attic range with a store at the southern end. There is an early 19th century door with a lozenge fanlight in the gable end, and off-centre windows on each floor. The northern section of the close includes one blocked door and small deep-set windows. The roofs are covered with slate throughout.
