Description

Shorehouse, located on Castle Bank in Kirkcudbright, dates back to 1730 but has undergone significant alterations. This detached house is two storeys high and has two bays, along with some additions. The exterior is made of rubble and painted render, and all the windows have been replaced with modern versions. The roof is covered with slate, and there is a modern jetty that extends to the river.
