Description
Glenstuart is a house that has been significantly altered and is primarily in its 19th-century form, although it is said to incorporate elements of an earlier house. The building has two storeys and is constructed from rubble with ashlar dressings and painted margins. The west and east elevations are asymmetrical and elongated, with the west side featuring the main entrance. There are two piend-roofed asymmetrical wings that create a courtyard. The house has corniced stacks and slate roofs. A heavily overgrown driveway bridge to the northwest of the house is difficult to date but may be from before the 19th century.
