Description
Gordon House Hotel, located at 116 High Street in Kirkcudbright, is an early 19th-century building that was originally two terraced houses. It is two storeys tall with a modern top floor added in recent years and features five bays. The exterior is finished in painted render with margins, although these are now flush and obscured. The building has a wide end on the right side.
The centrepiece is pilastered and originally had two doors and alternating windows; however, one door has been blocked. The windows have curved cills and lintels, and there is a band course between the ground and first floors. All windows are fitted with plate glass sashes, and there is a cornice above the first floor.
