Description

106 High Street in Kirkcudbright is a building from the later 18th century that was originally two terraced houses. It has two storeys and an attic over a basement. The right side of the building features two bays made of painted rubble, while the left side has three bays with painted, lined render and margins. There is a wide pend on the left with a window above it. The shopfront, added in the late 19th century, has a central door and two windows on the right, with a former door to the left of these. The first floor has five windows, all with 12-pane sash designs. The building also includes two dormers and is topped with a slate roof.
