17 St Mary's Place is a narrow, two-bay, two-storey terraced house built in the mid-19th century, located at the end of a terrace. The house is constructed from rubble with tooled red sandstone dressings. It features a door on the left side and two-pane sash windows. The property has brick stacks at the ends and is topped with a slate roof.
