Description
Low Currochrie is a farmhouse built in the later 19th century. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure made of painted rubble with painted raised margins.
On the north elevation, there is a gabled bay that is advanced at the center, featuring a boarded door with decorative iron hinges and a fanlight on the east return. There are windows on both floors to the north, along with overhanging eaves and a timber spike finial. The outer bays also have windows on both floors.
The east elevation has a window to the right at the ground floor. The west elevation is gabled and blank.
The farmhouse includes plate glass glazing in sash and case windows, painted coped skews, and painted brick gablehead stacks. The roof is covered with grey slates and features octagonal cans. There is a U-plan steading located to the east.
