Description
97 High Street in Langholm is likely an early 19th-century building. It has two storeys and three bays, featuring a deep gable on the north side facing Drove Road. The exterior is pebble-dashed with painted ashlar margins. The central doorway has moulded reveals and a panelled door with a fanlight above it. The building has sash windows, which are made of plate glass except for those on the flank. There is an eaves and lintel band, along with corniced stacks at the ends. The north gable has saw-toothed skews, and the roof is covered with graded slates.
