Description

The statue of Admiral Sir Pulteney Malcolm, sculpted by David Dunbar, was unveiled in March 1842. It features a white marble figure of the admiral, which stands on a square grey granite base that has a corniced and battered design. The plinth is surrounded by plain cast-iron rails, which are supported at the corners by piers shaped like cannons.
