Description
The stables at Alva House date back to the early 19th century and feature a two-storey front made of droved ashlar stone. The end bays are set forward and include a tripartite window with a lunette above on the first floor. In the center, there is a three-storey pend tower with a tall archway and a Venetian window that has arched sidelights on the second floor. The building is constructed from cottage rubble and has a two-window layout with a central door, flanked by one-window wings, all topped with a peind roof.
