Description

The Dr. Thomas Chalmers Statue, located on George Street in Edinburgh, was created by Sir John Steell in 1878. This bronze statue of Chalmers stands on a polished, stepped, and battered plinth made of red granite. The plinth is inscribed with the words "THOMAS CHALMERS DD DCL BORN 1780 DIED 1847."
