Description
33 Upper Gray Street is an early 19th-century, two-storey, six-bay pair of classical houses that are part of a terrace. The houses are constructed from lightly stugged cream sandstone ashlar and feature a base course, a cill course for the first-floor windows, a cornice, and a blocking course.
The west elevation, which is the entrance side, has doorways in the central bays with panelled doors and small-paned geometric fanlights above. There are single windows on the first floor above the doors, with a blind window above the door to No 31. The remaining bays on the outer left and right also have single windows.
The east elevation features 12-pane timber sash and case windows, with external secondary glazing on the first-floor windows of No 31. The roof is pitched with grey slate and has mutual coped ridge stacks with moulded cans.
The interior was not seen in 1995. The property is enclosed by low coped rubble boundary walls and has replacement railings.
