Description
Malta Green Cottage is an earlier 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay villa that features a recessed centre rising to three storeys, topped with a castellated parapet that is corbelled at the front. The building is constructed of ashlar stone with droved dressings. The entrance is a plain round arch that is recessed. Although the ground floor windows have been altered, the glazing pattern remains intact above, with the outer street elevation windows showcasing vertical margin glazing and aprons beneath moulded cills, and a hood mould over a single centre light. There is a band course between the ground and first floors, as well as an eaves band. The south elevation has one blind window that spans both the ground and first floors. The roof is piended with slate and partly platformed, featuring wallhead stacks. There is a low extension at the rear.
