Description

The YWCA Women's Hostel, located at 7 and 8 Inverleith Terrace in Edinburgh, is a double house block built around 1870 to 1880. It has two storeys with a basement and a modern attic. The façade features two windows situated between two canted bays. The basement is droved, and there are spear-headed railings along the property. The ground floor is channelled, and the first floor has architraves. A heavy modern continuous slate-hung dormer extends over both houses. The door at number 8 has been closed and converted into a window.
