Description
3 Inverleith Terrace in Edinburgh is a pair of double houses built around 1870. These two-storey homes, with an attic and basement, are set on a slope and each features two windows between two shallow rectangular bipartite bays that have piended roofs. There are four gabled timber-faced dormers on each block, positioned centrally above the windows below. Notably, number 6 has a heavy modern continuous slate-hung dormer. The houses are constructed of plain ashlar stone, with chamfered arrises only at the windows. The area is enclosed by spear-headed railings, and the roofs are slated.
