Description
34 Rose Street North Lane is an early 19th-century building that has undergone subsequent alterations. Originally serving as warehouses, it is now used as office space with storage for the adjoining shops on George Street at ground level. The exterior is constructed from coursed cream sandstone rubble. The building features a 4-storey, 5-bay block to the west and a 3-storey, 7-bay block to the east. It has timber sash and case windows with 12 panes. The roof is finished with grey slates and has ashlar coped skews. The interior has been modernized for office use.
