Description

The walled garden at Mortonhall House, located on Frogston Road East in Edinburgh, dates from the mid-19th century. It features large high rubble walls topped with slab ashlar coping, with part of the eastern side lined with brick. The garden encloses just over 1 hectare of land. There are arched entrances on the north, west, and east sides, each with ashlar dressings and boarded timber gates. Additionally, there are remains of a brick stack just outside the eastern walls.
