Description

Circa 1815. 2 storey, 3 bay, symmetrical, classical house. Droved cream sandstone with ashlar dressings. Advanced cills to ground floor windows; cill course to 1st floor windows; dentilled cornice; blocking course.

E (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central doorway; panelled door; diamond patterned fanlight; engaged columns, carved paterae and dentilled cornice to doorpiece; single window to 1st floor above. Single windows to both floors in outer bays.

12 pane, timber sash and case windows. Grey slate piended roof; coped and rendered wallhead stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen 1996.

BOUNDARY WALLS, GATEPIERS AND PEDESTRIAN GATE: low, coped rubble wall to street; high rubble walls to N and S; corniced gatepiers with pyramidal caps and ball finials. Pedestrian gate adjoining house to S.
