Description

Braeburn House is a rembling mansion located in Currie, Edinburgh, and was built in 1887 by architect Sir Robert Rowand Anderson. The building is primarily two storeys high and constructed from snecked red sandstone rubble, topped with a slated roof. At the eastern end, there is a copper cupola and corbie steps. The exterior features bay windows and a porch with a segmental pediment that is inscribed with 'MHB 1887'. Inside, there is a well-preserved wainscotted entrance hall and staircase.
