Description
Gate Lodge at Torrisdale Castle is a later 19th-century building featuring one storey and a basement. The exterior is harled with a pyramidal slate roof that has a bell cast design and a central chimney. It includes pointed windows and an ashlar porch that is corbelled and crenellated, topped with a parapet and a splayed segmental arch.
The gateway consists of two dressed piers adorned with coats of arms and is flanked by wrought iron gates. Screen side-walls connect the gate to Torrisdale Bridge.
