Description
Carradale House, built in 1844 by David Bryce, is a Scots Baronial style building featuring a rambling block design. It stands two storeys tall with attics and is harled with gabled slate roofs. The house includes angle turrets topped with conical and pyramidal roofs, as well as band courses. The early 19th century core of the structure remains, although the courtyard to the north was destroyed by fire in 1969 and has since been rebuilt.
