Tarbert Parish Church, Campbeltown Road, Tarbert

Tarbert Parish Church, built in 1886, is a Gothic Revival structure located on Campbeltown Road in Tarbert. The church has an oblong plan with an aisle on the north side and features a crown steeple at the northeast corner. It is constructed of rubble laid in courses and has slate roofs. The exterior includes buttresses and rounded-headed lancet windows. The tower is designed in four stages, topped with a crenellated parapet and corner pinnacles from which the crown rises. A clock made by Gilbert & Co. of London and a bell by Munro Thomson & Co. of Glasgow, both dated 1886, are notable features. The entrance has a moulded round-headed doorway that is accessed by steps.

Inside, the church boasts an open timber ceiling, a gallery at the east end, and an arcade on the north side. Adjacent to the church is a hall with a timber ceiling of the same design.
