Description
East Lodge at Poltalloch House is a Victorian building dated 1855, designed by William Burn. It has an L-shaped plan and consists of one storey with an attic. The exterior is made of rusticated rubble and features gable slate roofs. The building has ashlar chimneys and projecting eaves with exposed timbers. There are carved barge-boards supported on brackets at the corners, as well as bay windows. The lodge includes a gabled porch situated in the re-entrant angles, which has a panel above displaying a castle and the date '1855'.
