Description

Earlier/mid 19th century in appearance, though probably not all one build; court of single-storey rubble-built buildings adjacent to mill, including single-storey and attic miller's house fronting road. 3-bay symmetrical front, with central gabletted porch flanked by hood-moulded windows with projecting cills and 16-oane sash and case glazing (with unusually thick central glazing bars); single hood-moulded attic windows in gable ends; corniced end stacks; slated roof. Single-storey rear wing, with deep slated roof; end stacks; multi-paned sash and case glazing (altered at inner courtyard elevation); modern skylights. Court enclosed behind by single-storey outbuilding with pair doors and slit ventilators at front. Dry-stone boundary wall to street.
