Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house with classical details. Smooth cement rendered and lined walls with droved ashlar dressings, all painted, roughcast side elevations. Eaves course, raised margins to windows and framing elevation, projecting cills.

NE (KIRK STREET) ELEVATION: pilastered doorpiece with entablature at centre; grained 4-panel entrance door with 6-pane fanlight above and etched glass inner door. Flanking windows and regular fenestration at 1st floor.

Modern glazing. Grey slate roof with cast-iron gutters and downpipes. Roughcast skew copes, coped stacks with circular cans.

BOUNDARY WALL AND GATE: roughcast dwarf wall to Kirk Street with modern railings. 19th century iron gate and gatepiers at centre with spear finials.
