65 Kirk Street, Campbeltown

65 Kirk Street in Campbeltown is an early 19th century, two-storey and attic, three-bay near-symmetrical end-of-terrace tenement that underwent late 19th century alterations. The building features a smooth, painted cement render finish on the Kirk Street facade and a blank northwest end gable. Openings have painted margins and projecting cills. The entrance door is located in the third bay on the ground floor, offset to the left, and consists of a four-panel door with a rectangular fanlight above it, with an additional window to the right.

The outer right side has four-pane timber sash and case windows on both the ground and first floors. The roof is covered with grey slate, and stone dormers that break the eaves are gabled, featuring barge boards with slated sides and roofs. The building has cast-iron profiled gutter sections between the bays, each equipped with downpipes and hoppers. A yellow six-flue brick stack is located at the northwest gable, topped with circular cans and flanked by roughcast skew copes. There is also a mutual southeast apex stack, which is roughcast with red sandstone ashlar ends and flanked by mutual crowstepped ashlar skew copes.
