Description

Early 19th century, with late 19th century alterations. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay near-symmetrical end-of-terrace tenement. Smooth, painted, cement render finish to Kirk Street and blank NW end gable. Margins to openings, projecting cills, all painted. Entrance door at ground floor bay 3, off-set to left, 4-panel entrance door with rectangular fanlight over, additional window to right.

4-pane timber sash and case windows to outer right at ground and 1st floor. Grey slate roof. Stone dormers breaking eaves, gabled with barge boards slated sides and roofs. Cast-iron profiled gutter sections between bays, each with downpipes and hoppers. Yellow 6-flue brick apex stack to NW gable, coped with circular cans and flanking roughcast skew copes. Mutual SE apex stack, roughcast with red sandstone ashlar ends, and flanking mutual crowstepped ashlar skew copes.
