Description
Macharioch House is a building that was re-built by George Devey in 1874, showcasing a Scottish style. It is a rambling structure with two storeys and an attic, featuring harled walls and gabled roofs. The slate roofs include skews, moulded skew-putts, and gablets topped with ball-finials. A notable feature is the two-storey bay window and a four-storey square tower with an angle tower. On the west wall, there are two inserts: one displays a ducal coronet and the date '1874', while the other features a motto. The northern wing is roofless and has been gutted.
