Description

Lower Lodge, Ashfold, was built around 1875 and designed by architect George Devey. This two-storey building features two windows and is faced with roughcast. It has timber-framed gables and a tiled roof, with a central red brick chimney stack. A notable feature is the two-storeyed bay window, which has wooden mullions and leaded lights, topped by an oversailing gable. There is also a two-storeyed porch on the side, with a timber-framed first floor and a gable above.
