Description

The Hyde is a building dating from around 1835, located on Horsham Road in Handcross. It is two storeys high and features four windows. The exterior is constructed of ashlar stone and topped with a slate roof. The building has four gables, each adorned with scalloped bargeboards. The windows are casement style, made with stone mullions and transoms. On the ground floor, the windows consist of two tiers of four lights each, with 4-centred heads above the lights. Additionally, there is a bay window at the east end on the ground floor.
