Description

Image Bridge at Brechin Castle is a 3-span girder bridge featuring timber decking. It has cutwater "islands" made of V-jointed ashlar, with rubble piers above that are decorated with niches for statuary. The bridge originally had timber "arches," with corbels still visible, and it includes present ironwork dating from around 1890.
