Description

The building at 8, 9, and 10 Cross in Forfar dates from around 1840 and is a three-storey structure with an attic and four-window facade. It is constructed of painted ashlar and features original pilastraded shops that have a shallow entablature but no cornice. The first-floor windows are architraved, while the second-floor windows have margins. The building has been re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) for its group interest as of 2006. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior, as relevant to the building type.
