Description

The Congregational Chapel, located at 6 and 8 Osnaburg Street in Forfar, was built in 1836. This two-storey building is constructed of rubble and features a chapel on the upper floor. The gable has round-headed windows that were added during the Victorian period. The chapel was designed by James Maclaren & Son. In 2006, it was re-categorised from a grade B to a grade C(S) due to its group interest, which includes considerations of both the interior and exterior as relevant to its building type.
