Farmhouse, Whitehouse Farm

Whitehouse Farm is a late 18th century farmhouse that is two stories high and has a rectangular plan with additions at the rear. The exterior features dry-dashed walls with ashlar dressings and a grey slate roof.

The south elevation includes a later single-storey, flat-roofed entrance porch at the center, with windows on both the left and right sides. There are four-pane windows in the flanking bays at the ground level and in the center at the first floor, while the outer bays at the first floor have twelve-pane windows.

On the north elevation, there is a twelve-pane window at the center of the first floor of the main house. To the right, there is a single-storey wing that is advanced and has a lean-to roof, along with various windows. To the left, a two-storey wing is slightly advanced, featuring windows at both the ground and first floors, and a piended roof. At the center, there is a modern glazed porch, and to the left, there is a single-storey, free-standing block that is also advanced.
