Description
Tealing Old Mill is a 2-storey water mill dating from around 1780, situated on sloping ground next to Tealing Burn. The building features rubble masonry and a corrugated metal roof.
The west range of the mill is currently derelict, with the external wheel removed, the eastern gable taken down, and the northern and southern walls only partially remaining. A southern projection has been partially demolished and is now covered by debris.
The south range has a rectangular plan and is now disconnected from the west range. It includes a large modern door opening at the northern gable, with two windows blocked from doors on the eastern elevation. There are steps and a blocked door at the southern gable basement, along with windows on the main floor and attic. The western elevation features two windows.
