Description

The Town House at 31 High Street in Kirriemuir was originally built in 1604 and remodelled by John Carver in 1862. It is a two-storey building with an approximately rectangular plan, featuring bows on the north and west sides and rounded angles that are corbelled to square. The structure is built of rubble, with the front facing High Street finished in coursed stone and slate. Notably, it includes a three-storey clock tower topped with stepped crenellation and a pyramid roof.
