Description
Alyth School, located on St Andrew Street in Alyth, was designed by John Carver and built in 1878, with a northeast addition completed in 1895. This single-storey building features a Gothic style and is constructed from red snecked rubble with white dressings. The front has a U-plan layout, showcasing twin central three-light segment-headed mullioned and transomed windows topped with gablets. The west wing includes a central buttress and a bellcote adorned with a fish-scale spirelet.
