Description
24 High Street in Kirriemuir is a late 18th century building. It features a two-storey, three-window red ashlar wing that is slated. The adjacent No. 22 is a three-storey and attic structure with a three-window stuccoed front facing Bank Street and a two-window red ashlar gable that includes a gothic attic window. The ground floor shops have been reglazed, and the raising of the fascia has altered the proportions of the first-floor windows. The building was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting its group interest, and the listing applies to both the interior and exterior as appropriate for the building type.
