Description
2-8 Bank Street in Kirriemuir was built in 1815 as a Trades Hall and later converted into a dissenting (Relief) chapel. The ground floor features shops that are partly original, with a stuccoed front above that includes four tall windows, which originally had traceried heads to the sashes. The roof is slated. The building was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting its group interest. The listing applies to both the interior and exterior of the building, as is appropriate for this type of structure.
