Description

No 7 Auchmithie is a late 18th century cottage and the northernmost of a row of four cottages. The other three cottages (Nos 5-7) have been altered. No 8 is a single-storey structure that is harled and white-painted, featuring a central door flanked by single windows. These windows are later 19th century timber sash and case windows with plate glass glazing. The cottage has a slate roof with masonry skews and an end gable stack to the north. There is a modern garage addition with a mono-pitch roof at the north end, which partially masks the gable.
