Description

1-5 Castle Street in Forfar is a late 18th century building that has had some alterations on the ground floor around 1840. It is a three-storey structure with four windows, built from coursed rubble. The building features a central gablet and a consoled doorpiece that includes an original fanlight and woodwork. To the west on High Street, there is a two-window gable and a two-window wing. The stonework of the building is decayed.
