23-25 Baltic Street, Montrose

23-25 Baltic Street in Montrose is an early 19th century, two-storey former warehouse with a rectangular plan consisting of 12 bays. The building is constructed from squared and snecked sandstone, featuring a band course above the ground floor and painted margins.

The west elevation has 10 bays at the ground floor, with doorways located at the extreme left and the fifth bay from the right, both featuring modern glazed doors. The north elevation adjoins 23 Baltic Street. The south elevation has a two-bay gable end, with a blocked opening to the left at ground level, a boarded window on the first floor to the left, and a loft door at the center of the gablehead, which retains its original timber door. The east elevation adjoins 1 and 3 Panmure Street to the left, has later extensions to the right, features a timber dormer, and displays irregular fenestration.

The building has plate glass windows at the ground floor, modern double-glazed windows on the first floor, and a blinded timber sash and case window at the ground level on the south gable end. The roof is pitched with grey slate and includes four rooflights on the west pitch, stone skews to the south, and a brick gablehead stack on the south side.

Inside, the building features a wood columned interior.
