Description

The garden features terrace walls and gate piers dating from the 16th and 18th centuries. The walls are constructed of rubble and were originally taller but have been lowered in front of Balbegno Castle. The ashlar gate piers are topped with ball finials and are aligned with the porch of Balbegno Castle. The garden and walls are designated a Category A listed building due to their group value and form a group with items 3, 5, 6, and 7 on the list.
